Once upon a time in a jungle, there lived a ferocious lion. He would roam around his territory, roaring loudly and intimidating other animals. One day, while the lion was asleep, a little mouse started playing near him without knowing the danger.
The lion woke up suddenly and caught the mouse. The mouse, trembling with fear, begged the lion to spare his life. The lion laughed at the small creature and said, "Why should I let you go? You are so tiny and insignificant!"
The mouse pleaded with the lion and said, "Please, kind sir. I promise one day, I will help you in your time of need. Please let me go."
The lion, amused by the mouse’s audacity, let him go. Sometime later, the lion found himself trapped in a hunter's net. He roared for help, but no other animal could hear him. Just when the lion had almost given up hope, the little mouse appeared and chewed through the net, setting the lion free.
The lion was amazed by the mouse's bravery and kindness. He realized that even the smallest creature can be of help in times of need. From that day on, the lion and the mouse became good friends, living peacefully in the jungle.
The moral of the story is, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."
